This year we return with our 18th Annual Women’s Works offering at the UU Church in Belfast, ME on Aug 1st and 2nd. The performances will be held in a circle, we look forward to sharing a deeply intimate offering of all new and original works.
Shana Bloomstein has choreographed a piece to Barbaria Maria’s incredible poem entitled Celestial Earth. This piece of poetry immediately inspired Shana to create a movement dedication and reflection of Barbaria’s work, and has been a great honor to bring it to life. Hanna DeHoff has created a new original work that brings her brilliance of thought provoking work with plenty of humor. Molly Gawler will offer a mesmerizing meditation of movement and connection. Nnenaya Bloomstein has choreographed a new body of work exploring water and the many changing tides. Andrea Dole will bring us a moving story of her sweet baby James, supported by movement and love. The evening will run about 60 minutes long with no intermission.
